Creamy Dijon Chicken Freezer Meal

Ingredients:
2 pounds chicken breasts, boneless skinless
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1.25 cups onion, chopped
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
8.45 ounces heavy cream
3 teaspoons dijon mustard
1.5 teaspoons stone ground whole grain mustard
0.5 teaspoons salt
0.5 teaspoons pepper
2 Tablespoons lemon juice

Directions: Preheat oven to 375F. Grease a 8×8 foil baking pan. Heat olive oil in pot over medium heat. Add onion and saute until translucent. Add garlic and continue to saute another minute. Add cream, dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, salt, pepper and lemon juice and simmer for 5 minutes. Place chicken breasts in pan and pour sauce over chicken. Bake 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Freezing Directions: Follow directions above except DO NOT BAKE. Cover baking pan with foil,label and freeze. TO SERVE: Thaw. Bake 375F for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.

Shredded Buffalo Chicken Freezer Meal

Ingredients

3-4 chicken breasts
1 12 ounce bottle of hot sauce (I like Pete's)
1/2 package of dry ranch dressing (1 ounce) 2 tbsp of butter

Instructions

Add chicken to freezer bag. Mix up other ingredients and add to bag over chicken. Mix up. Freeze til ready to cook. Thaw overnight. Place in crockpot. Cook on low for about 6-8 hours. 1/2 hour before serving shred chicken. Serve on rolls for a sandwich. Can top with ranch dressing.

Applesauce BBQ Chicken Freezer Meal

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 t ground pepper
2/3 cup chunky applesauce
2/3 cup BBQ sauce
2 T brown sugar
1 t chili powder

Instructions

Add chicken to freezer bag. Mix up all other ingredients and pour over chicken. Place in freezer til ready to cook. Let thaw over night. Place meal in crockpot. Cook 6-8 hours on low setting. Serves 4.

Hearty Beef Stew Freezer Meal

Hearty Beef Stew

Ingredients:
1 pound beef stew cubes
4 carrots, sliced
4 red potatoes, cut into large cubes
1 package dry onion soup mix
2 cans 98% fat-free cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (10 oz) package frozen green peas

Directions: Place all ingredients in a resealable gallon-sized freezer bag. Mix together and zip bag closed. When ready to eat, remove from freezer and thaw in fridge for 24 hours. Cook on LOW for 7-10 hours (or HIGH for 5-6 hours).

Slow Cooker BBQ Spareribs Freezer Meal

Slow Cooker BBQ Spareribs

Ingredients:
1-2 lbs of country-style pork ribs
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1 1/2 Tablespoons seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar

Directions:
Place pork in resealable gallon-sized freezer bag. Add mixture of other ingredients over pork. Mix together in bag and zip closed. When ready to eat, remove from freezer and thaw. Add to slow cooker, LOW for 6-7 hours.

Sweet And Sour Chicken Freezer Meal

Ingredients:
* 2 cups shredded cooked chicken or chopped raw chicken
* 1 large green pepper, chopped
* 1 small onion, chopped
* 1 cup salsa
* 1 can chunk pineapple with juice
* pinch of salt

Write the name of meal and date on bag before putting in all ingredients.

Directions:
* Chop veggies and if necessary, chicken.
* Dump all ingredients into a zip top freezer bag. Freeze flat.
* Thaw the night before using.
* Dump thawed bag into crockpot. If using cooked chicken,cook in crockpot for 2-4 hours on low. If using raw chicken, cook in crockpot 4 hour on high or 8 hours on low.
* Serve over rice or noodles.

I was surprised to see two Red Plums and a Smart Source for 3/17/13. So far what I see it looks like it's going to be some good deals. Took notice right away to free Duncan Hines. The coupon specifically says free any Duncan Hines frosting creations flavor mix a dollar maximum value expires 6/30/13. Find it in your Smart Source. Another deal I found was for 3 dollars off Bic Disposable; at Walmart for 2 dollars 98 cents. Expires 4/13/13. You can also find that coupon in your Smart Source.
